Disasters: A blessing in disguise

Every tragedy is a blessing in disguise. Now, I know it may not seem like one in the beginning but in the long run, all becomes clear. Let me explain with an example. Let us take the example of the murder of George Floyd. Yes, it was brutal and shocking and horrible. Yes, it should never happen to anyone. But, in the aftermath, look what happened: massive protests that no one had ever seen before, broke out in the country. Not only blacks, but people of all color, races, communities flocked out in masses to finally put a stop to hate crimes. And because of these nationwide protests, for the first time in history, efforts are being made to change the way policing is conducted as we know it. Let me give you a more personal account to make you believe that disasters are indeed, a blessing in disguise. Around 3 years ago, I was in one hell of a country, let's call it XYZ.
